Production Faqs

The booking process

Because we customize our packages to your event, we will take into consideration your event size, budget and production needs to create the perfect package for you. We will set up a flexible time to meet with you to allow viewing of our demo materials (or online films). We provide the forms in person or via email for you to return with the deposit amount.

Choosing a production

As you may have noticed, video companies doing professional work can have wildly different pricing. Generally, the productions a company provides will be grouped into a handful of packages. These packages between various companies can be confusing since one package may include an item or items, another company's package may not include the item.

These packages may also include more than is needed for the production. For instance, some packages will include two or even three cameras at the reception. Unless there are planned events at the reception in different rooms at the same time, this provides little production value. Depending on the size and type of wedding ceremony, multiple cameras at the ceremony may be unnecessary.

That's why we custom design a production for our brides, based on their event. We will be happy to provide multi-camera or single camera productions based on the event. Many brides with simple ceremonies may not need multiple cameras in the production at all and the savings can be substantial.

Production time

Infinity Vision offers a set amount of hours with every production because in our experience an all day shoot would not greatly increase the value of the production, it would only increase the cost. We offer additional hours if additional time is desired (but this is a rare request). We allow this time to be added on the spot. This increases the package flexibility without added unnecessary upfront or wasted cost.

Travel

We do not charge additional travel fees for weddings which take place within 30 miles of downtown Louisville. For other wedding sites, please contact us for additional travel information.

Delivery Time

This varies greatly depending on the time of year your wedding takes place. Because more time is put into our productions, the editing process is more time consuming. The filming of the event is the least time intensive part of the entire process. Productions are generally completed within six weeks to two months. We usually finish your short video first and this will be available online for viewing by friends, family and yourself before the entire production is completed.

Partial videos/packages

If you are interested in only having a part of your wedding filmed such as the ceremony, we can accomodate this for you as well. However, because filming only the ceremony will not greatly decrease the cost of the production you may want to get reception professionally covered as well. Clients end up grateful they have had the reception professionally covered since lighting is key to excellent results.

Demo videos via mail

We do not send out demos via mail. This is because we have an obligation to protect our clients' materials from broadcast. We do not openly allow distribution of anything created. This means your production is protected as well.

How early should I book production?

It is always wise to plan on booking your production as early as possible. Professional companies will only book one wedding per date for production quality reasons. It is not unusual to have weddings booked by brides one year in advance for the busy wedding season. Why not contact us? We can discuss your date and event without obligation.
