The booking process

We will set up a flexible time to meet with you to allow viewing of our demo materials (or online films). We provide the forms for you to take after this meeting. If you wish to book your date you may return the form to us with the deposit amount.

How to compare work

Video companies doing the same level of professional work have fairly comparable pricing. We occasionally refer a bride to other quality companies if we have a date booked and their pricing is usually close to ours. Our package may include an item that is extra with them or vice-versa. The main difference is the style of the production. We recommend seeing their work. This is the only way to compare the quality you will receive.

We never refer brides to businesses which offer multi-services. A quality video production is time intensive to do well by any company. These discounted add-on productions are often exactly as you would expect, an after-thought video production with poor quality and costly upsales.

Production time

Infinity Vision offers a set amount of hours with every production because in our experience an all day shoot would not greatly increase the value of the production, it would only increase the cost. We offer additional hours if additional time is desired (but this is a rare request). We allow this time to be added on the spot. This increases the package flexibility without added unnecessary upfront or wasted cost.

Travel

We do not charge additional travel fees for weddings which take place within 30 miles of downtown Louisville. For other wedding sites, please contact us for additional travel information.

Delivery Time

This varies greatly depending on the time of year your wedding takes place. Because more time is put into our productions, the editing process is more time consuming. The filming of the event is the least time intensive part of the entire process. Productions are generally completed within six weeks to two months. We usually finish your short video first and this will be available online for viewing by friends, family and yourself before the entire production is completed.

Partial videos/packages

If you are interested in only having a part of your wedding filmed such as the ceremony, we can customize this for you. However, filming only the ceremony will not greatly decrease the cost of the production if you are still interested in getting all the other customized features. This is because the actual filming is a small portion of the entire production process. We have had clients who didn't want the reception covered because they had seen too many embarassing videos. We promised to edit out anything they didn't find appropriate from the reception. These clients ended up grateful they had the extra footage. The footage they didn't want is protected by us.

Demo videos via mail

We do not send out demos via mail. This is because we have an obligation to protect our clients' materials from broadcast. We do not openly allow distribution of anything created. This means your production is protected as well. In any case, we have seen short demo videos mailed by many companies and these generally give little indication about the productions. Many times these demos are short clips from only one or two weddings!

Family member made productions

This rarely comes up because people inquiring about our services are usually referred from other customers. Occasionally, we will have someone asking if we will edit footage shot by a family member or photographer. The easy answer is yes. However, the editing process is not inexpensive because it takes far longer than the actual filming. We also do not recommend people who are not professionals to "practice" at a wedding. A wedding is the last place you want to have someone learning video production. It's not only about experience, it's about having the proper equipment to do the job. We know all about this, we started shooting wedding video 12 years ago and have learned quite a bit since then!
